Vahan immigrated to the United States in 1987 at the age of 18, he brought with him the love he had for life and the food from his family home in the Mediterranean. As a boy Vahan grew up with his Grandmother’s influence on food, one of them was the home made garlic sauce.
To Vahan, his family’s garlic sauce was the essence of true garlic flavor, carefully mastered to fit in with just about any food. Out of the many uses of the garlic sauce, his favorite was with chicken. To this day Vahan can be heard speaking with his restaurant patrons when they comment on the sauce and he tells them that the garlic sauce is “Chicken’s Best Friend”
